The service department was very prompt and thorough. I was an hour early for my appointment but they worked me in anyway. The only thing I can say may be a little concerning is the fact that I needed a new light sensor to control the headlights. They did not have one in stock which means I will have to come back. It has been a week and I still have not heard back from them. This vehicle is used for work so down time windows are small.

Bailey is absolutely nasty. She is INCREDIBLY rude. My husband and I were dropping my car off for service and drove around to look at the other vehicles on the lot. When I went to drop my keys in the box, she said “what do you need”. When I advised I was looking for the drop box for keys she told me she “saw us driving around” and then questioned me as to where my car was at as if I were lying to her….. I hope she doesn’t work with the public because that experience alone solidified that using this dealership isn’t worth the trouble, even being 35 minutes closer to our home than York. I do not recommend your dealership and I will not return.

Oil change/tire rotation process was ok. Service advisor was very polite. However, after the tire rotation, I specifically asked if the tech had checked to see if the proper inflation was done. I was told ‘yes’. However, when I got home, and after giving the tires time to cool down, found that the rear tires were over inflated to 36 psi, when the manufacturer’s spec per the door panel was 32 psi. The techs need to check this going forward.

The service was fine. The billing was wrong. I had a backup light bulb replaced and I told them to replace the other one while they had it apart. So then they charged me labor for both bulbs .4Hrs.for each bulb. I contacted your service manager about it and she said they should not have charged me labor for each bulb. She called me and said she would return my money the next morning and that never happened. I have been getting my car serviced there since 2012. Besides inspection I also had my oil changed and tires rotated.

First, just trying to talk with someone over the phone is like pulling 'Eye Teeth'. No one ever seems to answer the phone, whether it is for setting up an appointment or checking on the status of my vehicle. Second, ever since Lindsey retired and Kevin left, I feel the customer service has dropped off severely and makes me want to reconsider going there. Although, Aiesha did call me to let me know about my truck, I was unavailable to immediately call back, but when I did call back, I was placed on hold 6 different times and hung up on. Eventually, I talked to someone in sales who did get me to the extension for 'Jennifer', where a voice message said she was going on vacation and wouldn't be back until some future date. I understand that 430PM is when everyone starts heading for the door and goes home, but if I ever did that in my profession, I'd be looking for another job. Third, I realize I had a screw in the sidewall of a tire, that could not be repaired or patched, so my option was to get new tires. I got an estimate from Aiesha. I took the estimate to Mar-Bar and they were not only able to beat the quote price, but provide me with a quote for better tires than recommended by Renn Kirby by several hundred dollars! I highly doubt Renn Kirby can beat this price. Fourth, I use to like dealing with Renn Kirby, but as I said before, they aren't the same as when Lindsey and Kevin were there.

When I received your call about a recall, I was not told for what only that you would call when the part came in. Had I known it was for an airbag that could cause great harm or even death if it went off during an accident, I would NOT have taken the vehicle on a trip to NC. Several weeks ago I received a notice from GM that my part was in and to call to set up a time. When I called, I was told you did not have the part!!! After several weeks of back and forth with GM, and being scared to drive my vehicle ( which spent most of its time from that point in the garage unless my husband had to drive it)I finally got a call from you saying the part was finally in. It has now been replaced. I realize the tariff fiasco caused part of this problem, but I feel that the ball was dropped on several levels. Saying I am not pleased about the way this was handled would be a great understatement.

I"ve been driving for over 50 yrs & have had my share of unexpected repairs but NEVER have I ever had a repair that was 2K+; a failure of the steering unit that set off 2 separate warning lights. This is just another example of just how far GM/Chevy has slipped in quality & dependability. I bought this '18 Colorado new and unfortunately have suffered through 6 bad experiences with it. I still get stared at at gas stations because it has to be filled via funnel, despite GM knowing of this issue since the '90s when it was first encountered. I've tried to maintain loyalty to GM/ Chevy over the years but any of that is now completely gone. I'm totally done with GM/Chevy & Renn Kirby dealership. Only positive has been dealing with service Tech Kevin Hankey who has always been very helpful & professional, even offering a loaner vehicle on one occasion until part arrived, probably from China.

When I arrived at the service department I was greeted with a friendly face( Kyley Hamilton). They got my Buick Lacrosse in promptly to diagnose my issue. The technician quickly found the problem. It was a cam shaft sensor issue and I thank him for finding the problem who ever he may be. Then they told me the parts would not be in until around 2:00 and they offer me a courtesy ride home which I didn't know they offered. I told them I'm about 35 mins away. They said that was not a problem. Then I met Don. He was a very nice guy and he took me home and came and picked me up the next day so I could pick up my vehicle. Don and I had a good conversation. Customer service rep was very nice but was not happy about how long it took for my vehicle to be done. Dropped off with an appt at 3pm on a Friday. Heard nothing. Then by Monday at 11am they told me they still haven’t even looked at it because for drop offs they fit them in whenever they can. I didn’t get the final callback of what needed done until 4:15pm and they close at 5. So they had to keep it an extra day until I could come get it. So I was not happy about that since I already had an appt yet I was not prioritized as such.

James Turner did a fantastic job with greeting me when I first arrived and checking me in for my first maintenance service. James was courteous and very professional. Unfortuneately, after my oil change and tire inspection and rotation, my Silverado let the service bay with low tire pressure in two of my tires. Additonally, the TPS sensors were not reset so the pressure on the monitor is reading incorrectly. I appreciate Jennifer taking my call and letting me know the best way to provide my feedback. When I took the truck for a test drive at the end of June, I noticed an annlying popup on the dash display. It happend about every 30 seconds - ‘action unavailable’ – and pointed it out to the sales person that was riding with me. When I dicided to buy the truck, I reminded her of the annoying popup and she said it would be fixed. It wasn’t. It took weeks and several trips back to Renn Kirby to get the problem solved. At my last appointment, part of the service was having the tires rotated. I guess the service people never checked the tire pressure after rotating them. A warning about tire pressure kept poppping up....Another trip back for service to correct pressure. Other than long wait time, even with an appointment, service has been good.

Took 2017 Chevy Cruz in for inspection, the mechanic detected a small oil leak and it would cost over $4K to get it fixed, the engine would have to be removed! Not a mechanic but knew this was BS.! The desk worker checked with the mechanic again and came back with another amount of $2K and now the engine would not have to be removed! The desk worker was nice, apologized and got the mechanic finished! We will not be returning to Renn Kirby for any other service in the future!

We are very pleased with the service we received at Renn-Kirby on our 2020 Chevy Equinox. They fixed the problem and the waiting room at this service center is the BEST waiting room we've ever experienced at a car dealership! FREE coffee and reasonably priced snacks from the vending machine! Clean atmosphere with TV programmed to ME TV ... we watched some early-1960s Westerns, which made up for the relatively lengthy service time (about 2 hours).

I declined the tire rotation service which is included in the oil change special but asked for them to swap out the engine air filter I brought with me instead (which would've taken less time than the tire rotation). The tire rotation special is $30. They said the engine air filter replacement would cost me $30. It would be common sense to most customer service personnel to offer to do the air filter complimentary in place of the tire rotation I didn't need because this garage just replaced all my tires on this car, but they didn't offer that. Instead, I didn't get the air filter changed and I left with just the oil filter and oil change and disappointed. I follow-up phone call from the service manager to me complained that the oil change was a money-loss service at $95 anyway, so I was basically lucky that I got it done before the price went up. Makes me want to search for a less expensive garage for a 6 quarts, 20 minute job.
